Lend a hand at the CT Diaper Bank! Volunteers are needed to help sort, count, repackage, label, and box diapers and other hygiene products before they are distributed to families in need. Volunteer Shifts Include: Tuesday, May 6th, 9 AM - 11 AM Volunteers will be asked to do the following: Lift boxes weighing 15-20 pounds Break down boxes Be on their feet for long periods (chairs are available for anyone who might need one)
Community Garden Cleanups (1)
As we begin the garden season, we are looking for volunteers to help us get the Davenport Community Garden ready for planting! Volunteers are needed for two different days: Wednesday, April 30th: 9 AM - 11 AM Saturday, May 3rd: 9 AM - 11 AM Volunteers will be asked to do the following: Clear and pull weeds Prepare garden beds for planting Trim greenery Be on your feet for an extended period of time Kneel and walk on uneven surfaces Pick up trash around the garden site
