North Haven Diaper Bank Donation Sorting: Tuesdays [Monthly], 9AM - 11AM
Lend a hand at the CT Diaper Bank! Volunteers are needed to help sort, count, repackage, label, and box diapers and other hygiene products before they are distributed to families in need. Volunteer Shifts Include: Tuesday, November 4th, 9AM - 11AM Tuesday, December 2nd, 9AM - 11AM Volunteers will be asked to do the following: Lift boxes weighing 15-20 pounds Break down boxes Be on their feet for long periods (chairs are available for anyone who might need one)
Volunteers are needed to help assemble literacy kits for children in our area. Each kit will be comprised of a packet, a book, and fun activities themed around the book of the month. Volunteer Shifts Include: Wednesday, December 10th, 11 AM - 1 PM Volunteers will be asked to do the following: Lift boxes filled with books weighing 5-10 pounds Staple packets together Stuff bags with all the components for each kit

Tuesday, December 9th from 4:30PM - 6PM In partnership with the Shops at Yale, United Way of Greater New Haven is hosting a toy drive for babies and toddlers enrolled in our Early Head Start (EHS) program. After all donations are collected, we need help sorting, taking inventory, and preparing donations to be delivered to childcare providers!
