In partnership with Connecticut Foodshare, United Way of Greater New Haven will host a bi-weekly mobile pantry for Hamden families! Saturday, 4/11, 9:15 AM - 12:30 PM Distribute groceries to families at John Martinez School in New Haven. During this distribution, volunteers will help by: Distribute food items Restocking food as needed Break down boxes Check in guests (bilingual English and Spanish speaking volunteers preferred for this role) Volunteers maybe asked to do the following: Lift boxes/foods weighing at least 25-30 pounds repeatedly Set-up tables Break down boxes Pick up trash and breakdown boxes after the event ends
