Join us as we partner with Gather New Haven to get our hands dirty and help maintain a community garden in New Haven! Volunteers will be asked to do the following: Clear and pull weeds Spread mulch Pick up sticks and trash around the garden Be on their feet for the majority of our time together Carry or lift items weighing up to 30 lbs Walk on uneven surfaces
Lend a hand at the CT Diaper Bank! Volunteers are needed to help sort, count, repackage, label, and box diapers and other hygiene products before they are distributed to families in need. Volunteer Shifts Include: Tuesday, September 2nd, 9 AM - 11 AM Tuesday, October 7th, 9 AM - 11 AM Volunteers will be asked to do the following: Lift boxes weighing 15-20 pounds Break down boxes Be on their feet for long periods (chairs are available for anyone who might need one)
